Ahh engagements, proposals and weddings, such special moments to capture! What better way to celebrate your love than these three occasions that are all about you and your partner.
First things first, I would love to schedule a time to meet at a local coffee shop to get to know you and your partner on a more personal level, hear all about how you met your person, and go over what you are looking for in a photographer. With every wedding package I include an engagement session. I believe engagement sessions are the best way for all of us to get to know each other better and for you to get more comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
I also photograph proposals; if you are interested in a proposal session, please reach out-- I am more than happy to hide during the proposal to get those awesome surprised shots as shown below.
Depending on the wedding package you choose I will either be with you to capture the entire day from getting ready all the way to the reception or from right before the ceremony up until the beginning of the reception. Though, regardless of the time I am there my goal is to document this day for you so you can look back and see where it all started and cherish those moments you never want to forget. There is a magic in seeing the love of two people come together in celebration with friends and family, and those are the moments I am honored to capture--the start of your story together. When it comes to this day, I want it to be stress free and for you to get the most out of your day so if there is anything specific you would like to see in your photos, please let me know so we can talk about it!
The first and second set of wedding photos you see below are from shoots I did under the amazing Bethany McNeil Photography and Brooke Alaina Photography, as a third photographer, where I was there to shadow and assist on these weddings, to get a feel of how to best capture and prepare for photographing my own client's weddings.
(Note: third collection is more extensive, as it was one of my own wedding clients that I photographed as the primary photographer).
I also do couple/engagement sessions outside of my wedding packages because I believe in couples celebrating their love on random days outside of their wedding day. The photos you see towards the bottom are both couple and engagement sessions, as well as a couple of my favorites of me and my other half. I love to go out and set up my camera/ tripod (which most times involves me running back and forth) and make him take photos with me, even though it can be hectic at times--we always end up loving the results!
